The defense is ranked 13th so far and if the offense continues to struggle the defense is going to need to start stepping up a lot more then if they want to string wins together.

The Canadiens come into this game with a 2-1-1 record overall and just won a game against the Washington Capitals in overtime. The Canadiens only scored three goals, but it was enough for the win. Cole Caufield had a strong game finishing with one goal and one assist. The Canadiens this season are averaging about 3 goals and their defense is giving up about 3 goals per game. The offense is ranked 12th so far this year and the defense is ranked 22nd. Can the Canadians string something together here and grab another win!?

This is such a easy, simple, just no brainer spot to be on for me. This game is going to be a lower scoring, end of story! I really don’t trust either of these offenses at all! You can not trust this Sabres offense and they are going to have some major issues getting the offense going here. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the Canadiens will also struggle against the Sabres defense and that is going to lead to this game being lower scoring and the under is going to cash for us with no problem.
