Dallas Mavericks (38-41) vs Los Angeles Lakers (48-31)
Game Info: Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 7:30 pm (American Airlines Center)
Betting Odds: Dallas Mavericks +4.5 -- Over/Under: 228.5

It's gonna be a wild one in Dallas tonight! The Mavs are hosting the Lakers, but this game's got extra spice. We've got two huge stars facing off against their former teams, which always makes things interesting. You know AD from the Mavericks, is gonna want to show out against his old squad, and then we have Luka from Lakers, returning to Dallas! This game is sure to bring some fireworks. Should be a good one!
The Los Angeles Lakers Team Preview!

So, the Lakers have been playing pretty well lately, winning most of their recent games. But they just got totally blown out by the Thunder last night, which had to sting. LeBron had a good game, and Reaves and even Luka Doncic (wait, that's not right!) put up some points, and they were even in it for a bit. But then the fourth quarter happened, and the Thunder just ran away with it. Hopefully, they can shake that off for tonight's game.
The Dallas Mavericks
Team Preview!

The Mavs have also been decent recently, winning a good chunk of their games. But they're probably still feeling pretty rough after getting completely hammered by the Clippers on Saturday. Anthony Davis (again, something's not right here!) had a solid game, and a couple of other guys chipped in, but as a team, they just couldn't get their shots to fall, especially from downtown. They were behind early and then the Clippers just poured it on in the second half. They'll definitely be looking to bounce back tonight and avoid another loss.

The Lakers Vs. Mavericks Game Prediction!

The Pick: The Mav’s +4.5
So, going into tonight, the Lakers are still missing a couple of guys, and the Mavs will be without Hardy again, with Exum's status up in the air. The Lakers really need this win to keep their high seed in the West, especially after beating the Mavs earlier this season. But playing on no rest after that rough loss last night is a tough ask against a rested Dallas squad. Even though the Lakers have been playing better and are healthier, you know the Mavericks, especially Davis facing his old team, will be fired up for this one. It's setting up to be a real battle!
