I really don't care what people say about this Maryland team, I know college hoops and this Maryland team is just bad this year! They come into this game fresh off losing two games in a row. We seen a couple games ago against Purdue, they lost 67-53 and in their last game against Minnesota, they lost 65-62. At halftime against the Gophers they were up 29-22 but in the second half the defense gave up 43 points. Maryland on the season is averaging 71 points per game and Wawa ztheir defense is giving up 63.7 points per game. The defense is ranked 28th and the defense is going to need to be good here.

The Michigan Football team might have won the National Championship, but the basketball team won’t be saying the same. This team is just as bad as Maryland! Michigan in the last game faced off against Penn State, and they scored 73 points but the defense gave up 79 points. Terrence Williams II had a strong game putting up 24 points, five rebounds, and one assist. Michigan on the season is averaging 81.7 points while their defense is giving up 78.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 43rd in the league but the defense hasn’t done them any favors. Michigan is at the bottom of the BIG 10 with a 6-9 record. Can they start looking like a team!

I guess the good news is that for one of these teams, that they are at least going to pick up a win tonight. This Michigan team can score, we have seen that much from them, but they still refuse to play any defense at all and their horrible defense is going to be what lets them down here against Maryland. This Michigan defense is giving up 79 points per game and they can't stop a nose bleed let alone a Maryland college basketball offense! Look for Maryland to have no issues getting baskets tonight and running the score up here!
