The Vanderbilt Team Preview!

Okay, so Vanderbilt's been a little up and down lately. They're 17-7 overall and 5-6 in the SEC. They just lost to Auburn where they couldn't keep up in the second half, even though they were close at halftime. Their shooting wasn't great either. Before that, they had a nice win against Texas, but then lost to Florida. Basically, they've lost 3 out of their last 4.
They're scoring around 80 points a game and giving up about 72. Keep an eye on Jason Edwards, their top scorer, and Devin McGlockton, who's a rebounding machine. As a team, they're decent shooters, but their three-point game could be better. I don’t have to many complaints about this team and they have impressed this season, but this might be one of their toughest matchups this season! Can they do the unthinkable?
The Tennessee Team Preview!

Tennessee's having a pretty good year at 20-5 overall and 7-5 in the SEC, but they just stumbled against Kentucky. They were even ahead late in the game, but couldn't hold on, and their offense just fell apart. Their shooting wasn't great, especially from three-point range. Before that loss, they had wins against Oklahoma and Missouri. They've won 3 of their last 4, putting them 7th in the SEC. Tennessee's a strong defensive team, giving up under 60 points a game, while scoring around 74.
Keep an eye on Chaz Lanier, their main scorer, and Zakai Zeigler, who runs the offense and dishes out a lot of assists. Like Vanderbilt, they're decent shooters overall. They do come in this game as the better team with the better players, but this is a tough conference and the Vol’s won’t be playing some push over team tonight! Can’t wait to see how they show up in this game!
The Vanderbilt vs Tennessee Game Prediction!

The Pick: Tennessee -11.5 -118
Look, Tennessee's a top-5 team, and they've got home-court advantage. Sure, they just lost to Kentucky, but they're still a force. Their shooting isn't amazing, but their defense is elite – they barely give up any points. Vanderbilt, on the other hand, has been struggling lately, especially on defense. They can score, but they've been giving up a ton of points. Tennessee's lack of depth is a little concerning, but I think their defense will shut down Vanderbilt, and their offense should have a field day. Tennessee's the clear pick here.
